Lectures and Presentations | Various

While with FSAE, I would regularly lecture and present in behalf of the team. Pictured is a lecture held on the introduction of control systems to incoming members and how to design systems on the provided software, in this case MatLab and Simulink. This lecture had an emphasis on open communication between teams, as each particular project requires research and understanding on the system you wish to control. The presentation was recorded and posted online for future members to review. The lecture video and slides are linked below.
Representing the company name of Highlander Racing, the team came together and put together a business model that would launch us into the casual formula scene, presenting it to potential investors. The competition required we create a financial plan for a multi-million dollar company focused on our vehicles, where our calculated yearly projections showed a nearly 400% return for investors following an initial $500,000 investment, with projections showing ROI within a year. This presentation was taken to the FSAE competition in Lincoln, Nebraska and placed in the top 30 among the over 100 teams present.
Since then, I have led in presentations for SGB design reviews and client product unveiling, to NAVSEA briefs to chain of command and flag level participation, each elegantly supplying engineering and product information, and allowing for opportunities to interface with investors directly for a more fluid project execution.
